Tecola Hagos Launches a New Website 

October 28, 2003 - Washington, DC
Tecola Hagos launched a new website today focusing on political commentary and issues relevant to Ethiopians at home and abroad, with articles contributed by current Ethiopian scholars. The new website will concentrate on current issues dealing with the government and political situation in Ethiopia, as well as human rights, freedom of the press and the future of Ethiopia and its people. Distinguished authors will contribute to the site. Contributions from other Ethiopian scholars and distinguished Ethiopian authors around the world will all be considered for publication on the website.

In addition to political commentary, the website will include current news, information and links related to Ethiopia. There will also be sections on culture, arts, and religion. The site will also keep a library of important archives including past articles and commentary. Tecola Hagos hopes to provide a place for Ethiopians to find important information on current issues while acting as a springboard for scholarly discussion and debate among Ethiopians.
